Too Expensive To Meet
Just as we were going to press with this newsletter we were informed that the Kern County public library system has changed its policy regarding the use of the library facilities by non-profit groups, effective January 1, 2007. They will be charging all non-profit groups $50 per month to use the meeting room. As a result, we will be looking for someplace else to meet. Until we find a suitable place, monthly meetings will be suspended.
